Position Summary
This position is responsible for fulfilling document delivery, and docket and case procurement requests using traditional and online sources (WorldCat, Lexis+, Westlaw, Bloomberg BNA, Internet, PACER, Courthouse News, and a variety of additional commercial and local providers), and other light legal research requests.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for obtaining requested items via document delivery in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
- Coordinates Lexis and Westlaw training schedules.
- Coordinates requests for materials from third party libraries and interlibrary loans where applicable.
- Answers ready reference requests as needed.
- Provides backup support for research librarians as needed.

Requirements
Education: B.A. minimum, Master’s in Library and Information Science or paralegal certificate preferred.
Experience: Prior library experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
Skills: OCLC; Internet; LexisNexis; Westlaw; PACER; Bloomberg BNA

Working Conditions: You will be required to work in the office a minimum of 2 days per week. Occasionally called upon to work hours in excess of your normal daily schedule. The details of your weekly schedule will be discussed further with your direct supervisor.
Pay Ranges: This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith’s pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
