Need help financing your library school experience?
Every year GPLLA offers worthy candidates a chance to apply for student scholarships as well as grants for working information professionals.
GPLLA awards scholarships in the amount of $1,000 to promising LIS students interested in pursuing a career in law librarianship. Award recipients will also be provided a one year membership to GPLLA.
The 2025 application deadline is May 30, 2025. Completed applications should be sent via email to the GPLLA Grants and Scholarships Committee Chair. Application procedures and email information are listed in the scholarship application.

Need funding assistance for your next conference?
GPLLA’s Grants & Scholarships Committee administers funds which allow its members to attend educational programs, seminars, etc. relevant to law librarianship. The grants are aimed at law librarians and student members who demonstrate potential to contribute to the organization in particular and to the profession as a whole.
Grants are awarded for an amount up to, but not exceeding $895.00. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
