Join GPLLA for the inaugural meeting of the GPLLA "Book" Club. The GPLLA Book Club will meet a few times a year to discuss a topic or theme centered around an article, book chapter, podcast, or other media. Just like a real book club you don't have to do the reading or watching in advance, you are more than welcome to join the conversation!
This is designed to be an informal conversation among colleagues.
For our inaugural meeting, we'll use a paired set of a reading and an AALL Annual meeting session recording to discuss the theme of institutional knowledge.
The reading is Institutional Knowledge Management and Succession Planning by Amy Carr and Sabrina Sondhi in Law Librarianship Practice: Challenges and Opportunities in Law Firm, Government, and Academic Law Libraries.
The Annual Meeting session is Hitting the Documentation Trail: Where Every Step is a Guidepost.
