Welcome to the New GPLLA Web Site!

I’m thrilled to announce the release of phase I of the new GPLLA Web site. Welcome. I’d also like to extend a much deserved thank you to RayAna Park, Nicole Engard and Jessica Carey for making this site happen.

 

This initial phase is designed to communicate vital GPLLA information such as association news, upcoming events and job postings. Planned additions to the site include a member wiki, a presentation bank, an electronic member directory and more. Keep checking back for new information, features and updates!

Legal Research Course

Each year GPLLA offers an introductory legal research course to Philadelphia-area professionals interested in learning more about researching and understanding Pennsylvania and federal laws. This highly recommended, highly successful course has proven especially helpful for paralegals and legal secretaries, in addition to librarians.

The 2011 course will be held at Jenkins Law Library. It begins on Thursday, March 3.

When: Thursdays, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Where: 833 Chestnut Street, Suite 1220, Philadelphia, PA 19107

Cost: $225 per person; enrollment fee includes legal research textbook.
