The Thomas R. Kline School of Law’s Legal Research Center invites applications for a Research & Instructional Services Librarian. This is a full-time position and is one of 3 Research & Instructional Services Librarian positions that reports to the Director of the Legal Research Center.

Location Philadelphia, PA
Duties & Responsibilities

 

– Providing legal and interdisciplinary research support to faculty, students and staff.
– Staffing the reference desk.
– Teaching in the law school’s educational programming including specialized legal research courses.
– Ability to develop and teach face to face as well as online courses.
– Serve as a liaison to faculty research needs.
– Create research guides/Libguides.
– Be a member of the legal research center’s collection development team.
– Participate in professional development activities.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

– JD from an ABA accredited law school required.
– Masters in Library Science or equivalent from an ALA accredited institution required.
– Excellent oral and written communication skills.
– Strong customer service orientation.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
