Archives:

Maintains the Chapter’s archives and history/historical documents.

Bylaws:

Maintains oversight responsibility for GPLLA’s bylaws

CRIV (Committee on Relations with Information Vendors):

Facilitates communication between information vendors and GPLLA members. Coordinates with AALL CRIV contact.

Government Relations:

Monitors political activity affecting libraries. Coordinates with AALL Government Relations contact.

Grants & Scholarships:

Administers and approves chapter grant and scholarship awards as a group.

Legal Research/Education:

Organizes and conducts GPLLA’s Legal Research course each year. Reaches out to local law school/library school students and schools.

Maintains chapter membership information. Produces directory.

Nominations:

Nominates new slate of board members in the spring. NOTE: Per the current bylaws, this chair cannot be a current board member.

Placement:

Disseminates information to the membership on career opportunities via the website and listserv.

Responsible for promoting GPLLA, both within AALL and our local community.

Responsible for electronic information as it applies to GPLLA. Maintains and develops chapter website. Maintains column on the site.
